I’m no good at working trends. Its not that I can’t keyword stuff the hell out of a post. Its that I am incapable of focusing on working them. I just don’t care enough to pay attention. I get bored watching the trends, paying attention to whats going on. I am following the election rather closely and maybe I would like to write about that. However, I want this to be my flagship IM blog because I need a place to write about the topic without it popping up when my real name is googled. I need to find corporate jobs because I don’t make nearly enough money in IM to support my family (plus the health plan sucks) and I don’t want to scare off potential employers. I’ll probably leave up the trends articles, they suck but they bring in some traffic. I am going to take down the adbrite ads and start pushing specific products through posts. Hopefully I’ll drive a trickle of traffic in the direction of this blog. We’ll see what happens.
